Governance

Directors meet on a quarterly basis to review and approve reports from standing committees established to govern the Foundation. Current committees and responsibilities include: 

  • Investment: implements investment policies approved by the Board and makes prudent decisions to realize the best outcomes from our funds.
  • Finance: monitors and controls Foundation revenues and expenditures.
  • Giving: coordinates Planned Giving and other Giving activities of the Foundation.
  • Golf Scramble: plans and organizes the annual golf tournament.
  • Nominating: identifies and recommends directors for the Board. 

The Foundation holds an Annual General Meeting each June and appoints an independent accounting firm to review accounts and produce annual financial statements.
